Several Antiguans and Barbudans joined Cubans living in the twin-island state for a motorcade on Sunday to amp up calls for an end to the United States’ embargo and energy blockade against the Caribbean nation. Cuba’s Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Sergio Martinez, says over 100,000 patients in Cuba are reportedly waiting for surgery. These include over twelve thousand children, as the country's fuel crisis heaps more pressure on its beleaguered healthcare system.
