MIGHTY SPARROW TO RECEIVE STATE-ASSISTED FUNERAL

Minister of Culture and Community Development Michelle Benjamin has announced the involvement of her Ministry in assisting with funeral arrangements for the late Slinger Francisco, “The Mighty Sparrow”. In a statement made in the Lower House on Wednesday, she said the late calypsonian will receive a State-assisted funeral and a Ministry team is working with the Francisco family to ensure the necessary arrangements are successfully underway.
