MV BARIMA TRAGEDY: PRESIDENTIAL COI COMMENCES IN 8 DAYS

LILIENDAAL, GREATER GEORGETOWN: Approximately 80 days after the catastrophic sinking of the state-operated ferry MV Barima, the long-awaited Presidential Commission of Inquiry (CoI) has officially established its procedural calendar, scheduling formal public hearings to commence in eight days on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC).
