Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew was welcomed at the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport by enthusiastic citizens, Cabinet colleagues, family and friends, after his medical treatment and recovery in the United States. Dr Drew, who suffered a stroke, was treated at the JNF General Hospital on St. Kitts, and at hospitals in Martinique and in Miami. A large gathering waited for the Prime Minister outside the terminal and cheered loudly when he emerged accompanied by Mrs Drew and Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Geoffrey Hanley. He was soon flanked by family members and close friends before moving to a small stage to address the crowd.
