NEVIS TOURISM AUTHORITY EXPANDS CARIBBEAN TRADE CONNECTIONS AT ASTA 2026

Charlestown, Nevis: The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA), in partnership with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, proudly participated in the 2026 American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA)Caribbean Showcase, held in St. Kitts and Nevis from August 22–25, engaging directly with more than 70 U.S. travel advisors and key industry partners.

As a leading professional association for the travel advisor community, ASTA provides an important platform for destination education, networking and business development. The Caribbean Showcase presented Nevis with a valuable opportunity to connect directly with advisors, strengthen existing industry relationships, establish new connections and highlight the diverse experiences that distinguish the island within the Caribbean.

Throughout the conference activities in St. Kitts, the NTA showcased Nevis' range of accommodations, rich culture and heritage, culinary offerings, wellness experiences, beautiful beaches and authentic island lifestyle, while providing advisors with greater insight into the destination and the experiences available to their clients.

During the conference on Sunday, Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, addressed attendees and shared the story of Nevis as a destination defined by its natural beauty, authenticity and warm hospitality. His remarks highlighted the qualities that continue to set Nevis apart and invited travel advisors to look beyond the traditional Caribbean vacation and introduce their clients to the island's distinctive character, people and experiences.

A major component of Nevis' participation in the Showcase was giving advisors and exhibitors the opportunity to move beyond presentations and experience the destination firsthand.

On Monday, participants traveled to Nevis for site visits at three of the island's distinctive properties: Four Seasons Resort Nevis, The Hermitage and Mount Nevis Hotel. The visits demonstrated the diversity of Nevis' accommodation product and gave advisors a closer look at the different experiences available to their clients.
