PREMIER MARK BRANTLEY LEADS NEVIS DELEGATION TO ATLANTA TO BOOST TIES

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS: The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA), led by the Honourable Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, undertook a weeklong visit to Atlanta, Georgia, from October 19–25, 2026, combining tourism promotion with engagement across media, business, community and creative industry circles. The visit provided a platform to raise awareness of Nevis in the United States, build relationships in Atlanta, and present the island’s tourism offering within the broader context of its heritage, sustainable development priorities, and economic aspirations. A key focus of the visit was highlighting Delta Air Lines’ nonstop service from Atlanta to St. Kitts and the onward connections to Nevis, positioning the island as an accessible Caribbean destination for travellers from the Atlanta market. The program culminated on October 23 with “The Essence of Nevis — An Island Evening in Atlanta” at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. The destination showcase served as the focal point of a coordinated week of outreach designed to connect Nevis with audiences and stakeholders across the city, while reinforcing the relationship between tourism, cultural identity, and opportunities for the island’s people.

“Our engagement in Atlanta reflects our commitment to building relationships that can deliver lasting value for Nevis and its people,” said Premier Brantley. “Tourism is an important part of that effort, alongside the opportunity to share our history, engage with business and creative leaders, and introduce more people to the possibilities our island offers. We want those who discover Nevis to understand both the quality of the visitor experience and the community that makes it possible.”

Media engagement across tourism, culture and development

Throughout the visit, Premier Brantley participated in a series of interviews and editorial meetings with national news, Atlanta media, and travel, culinary, and lifestyle publications. The outreach created opportunities to introduce Nevis to new audiences and build relationships with journalists and editors whose coverage reaches prospective visitors and influential communities.

Together, these engagements supported a broader presentation of Nevis: a destination known for intimate hospitality and natural beauty, with stories rooted in history, culture, cuisine, and the island’s approach to future development.
