BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS AND NEVIS: The St. Kitts and Nevis Triathlon Federation is pleased to announce that Greyson Burrell has been selected for the third time to represent St. Kitts and Nevis at the 8th CARIFTA triathlon, Aquathlon & Mix Relay Championships to be held at Clearwater Beach, Bermuda from October 23rd to 25th, 2026. Greyson will compete in both triathlon and aquathlon in the 13–14 male category, taking on talented young triathletes from across the Caribbean. The championships will bring together competitors from Bermuda, Aruba, The Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, and St. Kitts and Nevis. The event will also feature mixed-team relays, adding another opportunity for athletes to compete as part of a team and represent their countries. Greyson’s selection reflects his consistent performances and commitment to developing across the three disciplines that underpin triathlon. He has earned first-place finishes across the 2026 mini- series hosted by the St. Kitts and Nevis Triathlon
Federation, demonstrating strong and sustained results in local competition. Most recently, he secured first place at the Miami Kids Triathlon, 13-15 male category, at Miramar Regional Park adding another notable result to his growing record. His progress also extends beyond triathlon. Greyson placed second in the Jamida Webster Memorial Cycling Race in Anguilla and recently third placed third in the 400-metre freestyle at the 2026 ABSF 11th Annual Swim Meet in Antigua this past month as well as second place at the SVG Gallagher
Invitational Swim Champs in St. Vincent in late August, 2026. These results illustrate the breadth of his development and his ability to compete across cycling and swimming—key components of triathlon and aquathlon. CARIFTA Triathlon, Aquathlon & Mix relay
championships 2026 will also include the 17–21 female and male triathlon events which are designated as a World Triathlon Americas Cup
Competition, bringing an additional international dimension to the event. The Federation congratulates Greyson on his selection and the hard work that has brought him this opportunity. Representing St. Kitts and Nevis for a third time is a significant achievement, and the
Federation looks forward to seeing him compete with determination, sportsmanship and national pride. Best wishes Greyson!
