BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: Defending champions MFCR Old Road United Jets and Azul Cayon Rockets were among the standout performers in Match Week Seven of the SKNFA/NBG Premier League, recording emphatic victories as all five matches produced decisive results over the weekend. Old Road United Jets registered the biggest win of the round, thrashing SKELEC Garden Hotspurs 6-0 on Saturday, October 31, at the National Bank Group Technical Center. Azul Cayon Rockets also enjoyed a commanding victory, defeating SOL Island Auto Supplies Conaree FC 5-0 on Sunday, November 1. Mervin Lewis was the star of the encounter, scoring a hat-trick with goals in the 39th, 61st and 68th minutes. Malique Roberts and Jabez Dorset accounted for the other two goals. Head Coach Al Richards welcomed the result, noting that the team had gone back to the drawing board following consecutive defeats in its previous two matches.

“First let me say congrats to my team for this victory. It was an important victory tonight... we had to go back to the drawing board, we had to rebuild, make some changes. The guys stuck to the task, we came out victorious and I'm very pleased with the performance,” Richards said. Meanwhile, S.L.
