Showtime edges South stars in crucial game Action in the Blackett-Pemberton football tournament continued at the ET Willet Park on the evening of Saturday 29 th August.

In game one, Showtime edged out South Stars in the dying moments of the game. South stars dominated the first half and went to the break with a comforting score line of 1 goal to nil.

However, in the second half, a rejuvenated Showtime, consistently applied pressure on the

South stars defense and minutes to the final whistle, hit the back of the net, to tie up the game, one goal- all.

As the seconds ticked away, a downpour of rain may have created a minor breach in concentration and

Showtime again penetrated the South stars defense, to end the game 2 goals to 1.
