COACH CLAXTON SPEAKS OUT
Long serving Coach of the Bath United Football club, Alex Claxton, is speaking out against the poor
treatment afforded to his club’s female team by the SKNFA administration. He noted that six points were deducted from the club’s ladies’ team, in the recently concluded Elvis STAR Browne Football league, because they did not show up for a particular game. Coach Claxton noted that he wrote in advance to the SKNFA, indicating that some of the girls were actively involved in Culturama activities and sought a postponement for their game against St. Paul’s. The SKNFA responded by deducting the points when his team did not show up for the game.
However, the league was suspended during the hosting of Music Festival. He pointed to the consistent performances of the Bath United club and opined that the SKNFA did not accord the club the respect it deserves. He feels that with such dismissive attitudes, the SKNFA is forcing clubs out of the leagues.
